A Game Changer for Clarksville and Southern Indiana!

1Have you heard the big news? A group made up of conservationists and local community leaders are bringing a new massive park to Clarksville!

The River Heritage Conservancy has been purchasing developed and undeveloped land along the Ohio River in Clarksville over the last year, with a goal of creating a new 400 acre park. The group believes the area offers a unique landscape for a dynamic world-class public park for active recreation, passive contemplation, spirited community gatherings, and wildlife conservation. The park would also mean a boom to the Clarksville and Southern Indiana economy.

3.jpgA website is now available for area residents to learn more about the park with informative videos, important information, and more. There is also a survey so residents can voice their opinions about what features and amenities should be included in the park.
