Does our cold and wet winter weather have you feeling down? Well hopefully we can give you something to look forward to! The Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department is proud to announce the schedule for our 3rd annual “Movies in the Park” Series.
Movies are shown on our giant inflatable screen on the event lawn at Gateway Park (500 Little League Boulevard). All movies are FREE to everyone, and they will begin at sundown each day. Coolers are welcome, but no smoking, alcohol, or pets are allowed in the park. Concessions will also be available for purchase. Be sure to bring a blanket or lawn chair for seating!

Friday, May 1st – “Frozen 2”
No matter how happy she is to be surrounded by the people of Arendelle, Elsa the Snow Queen finds herself strangely unsettled. After hearing a mysterious voice call out to her, Elsa travels to the enchanted forests and dark seas beyond her kingdom.

Friday, June 5 – “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker”
When it’s discovered that the evil Emperor Palpatine did not die at the hands of Darth Vader, the rebels must race against the clock to find out his whereabouts. Finn and Poe lead the Resistance to put a stop to the First Order’s plans to form a new Empire, while Rey anticipates her inevitable confrontation with Kylo Ren.

Friday, July 3rd – “Dolittle”
Dr. John Dolittle lives in solitude at his lush manor in 19th-century England. His only companionship comes from an array of animals that he speaks to on a daily basis. But when young Queen Victoria becomes gravely ill, the eccentric doctor and his furry friends embark on an epic adventure to a mythical island to find the cure.

Friday, August 7th – “Jumanji: The Next Level”
When Spencer goes back into the fantastical world of Jumanji, pals Martha, Fridge and Bethany re-enter the game to bring him home. But the game is now broken — and fighting back. Everything the friends know about Jumanji is about to change, as they soon discover there’s more obstacles and more danger to overcome.

Friday, September 4th – “Mulan”
When the Emperor of China issues a decree that one man per family must serve in the Imperial Chinese Army to defend the country from Huns, Hua Mulan, the eldest daughter of an honored warrior, steps in to take the place of her ailing father. Disguised as a man, she is tested every step of the way.

Friday, October 2nd – “Trolls: World Tour”
Poppy and Branch discover that there are six different troll music tribes scattered over six different lands. When rockers Queen Barb and King Thrash set out to destroy the other music, Poppy and Branch embark on a daring mission to unite the trolls and save the diverse melodies from becoming extinct.
